  • Open Instagram and navigate to the post containing the photo or video you want to download.
  • Click the Share button and select Copy Link from the list that appears.

Once you have the link on Instagram, you can follow one of the two instructions below to download the content to your iPhone or iPad.

Method 1: For iOS/iPadOS 13 or later (using Safari)

Since iOS 13, Safari has supported the download manager feature, allowing you to download videos directly from the web.

Steps to follow:

Step 1: Open Safari browser, access website: https://saveinsta.pro

Step 2: Paste the Instagram link into the input box and press the Download button.

Step 3: When the video appears, press the Download Video button.

Step 4: A popup will appear, select Download to confirm.

Step 5: Track download progress at the arrow icon on Safari.

Step 6: Open the Files app → the Downloads folder to watch the video.

Step 8: Open the Photos app to review the saved video.

Method 2: For iOS 12 and below (using Documents by Readdle)

If you're on older iOS, try the free app Documents by Readdle:

Steps to follow:

Step 1: Download Documents by Readdle from the App Store.

Step 2: Open the app, go to the browser icon (compass).

Step 4: Paste Instagram video link → press Download button.

Step 6: Name the file if you want → press Done to download.

Step 7: Open the My Files → Downloads tab in the app.

Step 8: Click the three dots icon next to the video → select Move → go to the Photos folder.
